I Thought It Was Going To Be A Kids Book

It turned-out to be a graphic novel, and definitely not for kids

You see art-student types reading graphic novels on the subway. You wonder why they spent ten bucks on something they can go through so quickly. Even though you read ‘Maus’ years ago and would spend way more than ten bucks on it. Shelves of them are expanding in bookstores. I went into Forbidden Planet recently and was amazed by the number of them, and the variety of topics. And the great graphics of them.
This one will mean something to you if you’re real reader. It’s warm, and wistful, and dark at the same time. I was stunned by its plot. I gave five of them as Christmas gifts. Look for it.
