Yesterday afternoon my middle daughter emailed that she'd been to Three Lives, my favorite bookstore that she told me about years ago when she lived near it, and that she bought Sally Rooney's novel Normal People. She said she liked her earlier book. Last evening I was at my oldest daughter's. At some point when for a minute I wasn't watching NBA stuff with my grandson I asked her what she was reading. She said she'd bought Sally Rooney's novel Normal People. She said she liked her earlier book.
